The upcoming EMU Spotlight Session on 16 April 2026 will focus on opportunities for music and art schools within Erasmus+ mobility.
This 90-minute online session will provide a practice-oriented overview of how schools can initiate and develop mobility projects that enable enriching encounters between teachers and students across Europe.
New to Erasmus+ mobility?
Learn what‘s possible and how to get started
Our guest speaker Irmela Werner, graduate teacher and Erasmus coordinator at the MTK Bannewitz (D), will outline the available opportunities and the concrete steps required to get involved.
Practical examples and short presentations about recent projects from various European countries will illustrate how student exchange can open up new perspectives, foster mutual understanding, and sustainably augment both the artistic and educational work of music and art schools.
Participants are then invited to join a Q&A with an open discussion and will be able to connect with potential future partners to start new projects.
Through this spotlight, the EMU aims to encourage all music and art schools to actively engage in European exchange, strenghten collaboration, and learn from one another across borders. The goal is to contribute to a vibrant and connected European community through music and arts education.
EMU Spotlights are open to EMU members and their member schools; participation is free of charge.
