The 51st Meeting of the EMU General Assembly and the European Music and Art School Forum will take place from 4 to 7 June 2026 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Hosted by the Czech member association AZUŠ-ČR, the event brings together EMU members and partners to exchange ideas, strengthen cooperation, and shape the future of music and arts school education in Europe. The General Assembly will be held on Friday, 5 June, followed by the European Music and Art School Forum, which includes an internal EMU working session and a public conference on Music and Arts Education, Democracy, and Societal Engagement on 6 June. A key focus of this year’s Forum is early childhood music education, linked to the Erasmus+ project CC-ECME, with discussions on ensuring free and high-quality access across Europe.

Alongside the working programme, delegates will enjoy a rich cultural and social programme, including a school visit, concert, guided city tour, and a boat dinner. The event will offer both professional exchange and cultural experiences in one of Europe’s historic music capitals.
