In front of the horror of the war in Ukraine, we stand in solidarity with the people suffering so much. We express our sadness and deepest empathy for the innocent persons who are losing their lives, and for all those who are trying to survive by fleeing or hiding under the bombs in the worst conditions.

Military aggression never solves anything, it only brings devastation, suffering and resentment for generations.

In line with the values that the EMU carries in Europe, we believe that culture and music help to build bridges between people, foster mutual understanding and are a positive force for tolerance and peace.

Wherever possible, it is more important than ever to promote these humanistic values and to strengthen the power of music.
