In April 2020, the European Music School Union launched a survey among its members as a first assessment of how the corona crisis affects music schools in Europe. The survey was answered by 22 national associations of music schools and one observer member.

This survey is a general approach, the first one in Europe, on the impact of Covid-19 on the pedagogical and economic life of European music schools. As the situation develops, it may be completed in the future by further reports and mappings on more targeted subjects.
