The EMU will host an online edition of the Meeting of the Boards on “Effective Communication for Associations of Music Schools” on January 25 and 26 from 9.30 to 12.00 on each day. The Meeting of the Boards is a biennial event specifically targeting board members of and individuals working in national associations of music schools. The EMU therefore strongly encourages all members to share this information within their boards and among colleagues in the national associations. The event is open to all members and free of charge.

On the first day, the event will include sessions revolving around communication on the European level, giving insights into the strategies of European networks and allowing participants to learn about and discuss the communication of the EMU. The second day will be fully dedicated to the national level, exploring how networks interact with their members, music school directors, teachers and students, but also to the public at large. Sessions will include best practice examples from within and outside the membership of the EMU, presentations from experts in the fields and feature interactive sessions and breakout group discussions.
