Capacity Building Seminar ‘Group Pedagogy & Collaboration with Schools’ in Reyjkavik, Iceland on October 27 & 28

Dear members and friends of the European Music School Union,

On behalf of EMU president Helena Maffli and the presidium, we are happy to invite you to a capacity building seminar focusing on ‘Group Pedagogy & Collaboration with Schools’ in Reyjkavik, Iceland on October 27 & 28. The seminar will take place at the Söngskólinn í Reykjavík (The Reykjavik Academy of Singing and Vocal Arts) and is kindly hosted by our Icelandic member Felag tonlistarskolakennar, the Icelandic Association of Music School Teachers.

Our members have expressed a great interest in a second edition of the seminar on this topic, as many of them were not able to attend the first edition held in Copenhagen last year. The EMU has therefore decided to repeat the seminar in Reykjavik with only minor changes to the programme.

The target group of the seminar is music school directors and teachers as well as people working in national music school associations. The seminar suits well for any person who is interested in developing new pedagogical skills and tools.
Please find the preliminary programme of the seminar here.
