More information:
First Network of the specialized artistic teaching in France, FFEM gathers to date more than 1100 schools of music, dance and theatre, that is to say approximately 20 000 teachers and 400 000 pupils.

Its action is defined around three axes:
- Pedagogy
- Partnerships
- Services

Created in 1973, FFEM - association law 1901- aims at:
- Promoting the teaching and and the practice of music, dance and theatre
- Federating art schools' directors to foster exchanges and to harmonize the teaching programs
- Supporting departmental association creation federating music, dance and theatre schools
- Sensitizing the partners and the institutions with the fundamental value of the artistic practice

Pedagogy

- Teaching Courses
FFEM values the concepts of learning and artistic practices in order to encourage an open-minded teaching and a quality depadogy. As a dialogue and exchange organization, it conceives "teaching courses" adapted to your needs. Thanks the knowledge and experience networking, FFEM works out these genuine "tools of reference" for each discipline. The courses also have the role of supporting and to enriching the pedagogical process of teachers.

- Harmonization of the programs
FFEM implements harmonization of teaching for all the schools, through its members in France and abroad. In this objective, decentralized teaching commissions carry out each year of examination tests by cycle and discipline as well as audio-visual mediums for dance (traditional, contemporary and jazz).
